This Water Barrel Pump is designed to make it easy to extract emergency water our of a 55 gallon water barrel.  To operate, simply insert the suction pipe into the barrell and screw into place.  Then, place the outlet hose into a receiving container making sure that it is placed lower than the water barrel.  Grip the handle and press down slowly until water begins to flow.  To stop the flow of water, simply nscren the stop cap at the top of the grip.

Virtually every home has water stored in it's water heater which can be used in the event of an emergency.  Simply attach this Water Heater Adapter to your water heater's drain valve, attach a standard 3/4" garden hose to the other side of the adapter, and extract up to 50 gallons of safe, clean, water.
