At Essential Packs we specialize in emergency preparedness which translates into "Helping People and Organizations Get Prepared for an Emergency". First and foremost, we specialize in designing emergency preparedness kits (sometimes referred to as survival kits and disaster kits). We currently offer more than 150 different designs and have kits to support the needs of individuals and families, businesses, schools, first responders, religious organizations, city service organizations like police and fire departments, government agencies, and all four branches of our military. We also excel at building custom kits for customers that need to conform to exact specifications that can include custom printing and branding.

In addition to emergency kits, we also provide emergency preparedness information and planning guides.

We also have experts available via our toll-free number to answer additional questions you may have or to offer up a recommendations.

Office Emergency Kits (Emergency Preparedness Kits for your Business)

At work, the safety of employees is the responsibility of the employer. Essential Packs makes it easy for a company to prepare for a variety of different emergencies and disasters. We offer emergency kits designed for 5, 10, 20, or more employees. We also have kits for safety captains (sometimes called safety wardens). We can even design custom kits to meet special needs. Our Office Emergency Kits have a shelf-life of 5 years and contain food and water rations approved by the United States Coast Guard and the Canadian Transport Authority. Based on guidelines published by FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security, every home and car should contain an emergency kit. FEMA recommends that every home have enough supplied to support every member of the household for at least three days. Our primary kits at Essential Packs are designed around this recommendation. Essential Packs has 5 Primary types of kits to support your emergency preparedness needs. We carry both Backpack and Bucket Kits, in both an Economy and Deluxe Format. These kits are built to support up to 4 family members. In addition, we have a Fanny Pack Kit that’s designed for one person and prefect for the car. All of our primary kits have a shelf-life of 5 years, and our deluxe kits exceed the guidelines developed by FEMA.

Long Term Storage Emergency Food (25-Year Shelf Life)

Catastrophic emergency situations and disasters can occur without warning which is why Essential Packs carries Long Term Storage Emergency Food developed by Wise Foods. These dehydrated and freeze-dried meals have a 25 year shelf life and come in 1, 3, 6, and 12 month supplies. With a 25 year shelf life, there is no need to rotate food. Meals come packed in crush-resistant, stackable, grab-and-go storage containers which minimizes the amount of storage space needed and makes it quick and easy to transport. Emergency CERT Kits (Community Emergency Response Team)

Essential Packs has a full line of CERT Kits and Supplies. Most of our CERT products carry the familiar CERT logo and our kits are designed to meet strict CERT guidelines and recommendations.
