About the Basic Emergency Bucket Kit (4 Person)

This affordable Basic Emergency Preparedness Kit is designed to provide four people with essential emergency supplies for three days (72 hours). That's how long FEMA estimates it can take emergency services and personnel to reach you in the event of a disaster. This kit is most suitable for those who will try to stay in their home in the event of a disaster.

Supplies in this home kit are stored inside a crush resistant container that also works as a portable toilet (snap-on toilet seat, liners, toilet paper, and disinfectant are all included). Also included is an Emergency Communications Plan with Wallet Card. The food and water rations in this emergency kit have a 5 year shelf life and are approved by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Canadian Transport Authority.

Note that this Basic Emergency Preparedness Kit contains just essential emergency supplies and that other supplies are needed to make this kit compliant with FEMA's Guidelines. This kit is great for those wanting to build a custom kit using additional items from Essential Packs or with items already owned.

This all-purpose emergency kit is suitable for use emergency situations including: earthquakes, tornadoes, winter storms, thunderstorms, hurricanes, floods, wildfires, landslides, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and extreme heat and cold.

Food and Water

Emergency Food Ration - 2400 Calorie (x4)

This 2400 calorie vitamin enriched food ration is approved by the United States Coast Guard and the Canadian Transport Department. It has a 5 year shelf life and requires no cooking or preparation. This food ration is made with non-thirst provoking ingredients and has a pleasant apple-cinnamon flavor. In addition, it's safe for vegetarians and those allergic to nuts and/or nut oils. This ration stays preserved in environments with temperatures up to 149 degees F.

Aqua Blox Emergency Drinking Water - 3 Pack (x24)

This 3 Pack of Aqua Blox Emergency Drinking Water contains three 8oz boxes of emergency drinking water. Each box comes with a convenient drinking straw. Aqua Blox have a 5-year shelf life and are approved by the United States Coast Guard and the Canadian Transport Authority. In addition, each water box is stamped with the expiration date making it easy to determine when replacement is necessary.

Emergency Communications Planning Card (x4)

This double-sided Emergency Communications Planning Card is designed to help members of a houshold plan for a disaster. One card is required for each household member. Each Emergency Communications Planning Card comes with a top part that contains a household member's critical contact, medical, and insurance information (for storing with your emergency kit), and a lower portion (the Wallet Card) that contains your emergency contact information and should be kept in your wallet or purse at all times.
